Description

Komsomolsk refinery is located in Komsomolsk-on-Amur (Khabarovsk Territory) and is a part of Rosneft vertically integrated structure since its foundation. Refinery construction was started in 1938 and in 1942 it was commissioned. Refinery capacity is 8.0 mtpa of oil (58,5 mln bbl). The plant refines West Siberian oil, which is supplied via Transneft pipeline system to the junction terminals Uyar (not far from Krasnoyarsk) and Zuy (near Angarsk) and then transported by rail. The plant also refines oil produced by the Company on the Sakhalin island and supplied to the plant by the pipeline Okha - Komsomolsk-on-Amur. The plant is focused on the production of motor fuel and jet fuel.
