Zoom is a company headquartered in San Jose, California, that provides remote conferencing services using cloud computing. Zoom offers communication software that integrates video conferencing, online meetings, live chat and mobile compatible work.
Initially, Zoom had the opportunity to hold conferences with up to 15 participants. On January 25, 2013, the product was improved so that up to 25 video participants could not participate in it. Version 2.5 of the software offers more than 100 videos of participants in one conference. The company invites up to 500 participants. Zoom uses client-side encryption using a 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard algorithm (AES 256) for presentation content. As of October 2015, the number of participants has increased to 100. In the period from 2015 to mid-2016, the declared support for Skype for Business and integration with Slack has increased.
