AGAT – Control Systems

OJSC “AGAT – Control Systems” until recently was known in the Republic of Belarus and abroad as Republican Unitary Research Enterprise “Research Institute of Automation Facilities”, the parent enterprise of the AGAT State Research and Production Association, the only research institution in the Republic of Belarus that carries out system research of global objects control and practical implementation of such control systems. Nowadays OJSC “AGAT – Control Systems” is a diversified enterprise and one of the leading enterprises, creating automated control systems for general and special purposes, hardware-software complexes and technologies, including communication and data transmission facilities, computing machinery, intsgages, life support and power-supply systems. Unique design methodology for large integrated control systems has been created on the enterprise and the most modern technologies have been recently developed and applied, treated as “crucial” (“key”) in the West. The key point of the UE NIISA policy in science and technology in designing and manufacture is the large-scale technical re-equipment of the enterprise. Tens of simulating centers, equipped with advanced computers and applying up-to-date information and communication techniques of both native and foreign developments have been founded, the well- equipped test base is available. The company successfully maintains broad partnership with the CIS and other foreign countries in developing science technical products and delivering systems, their components and control components. Yet the company has recently introduced series of science-intensive projects for the benefit of the Republic of Belarus’s economy. These projects include creation of automated control systems for all modes of transport (air traffic, railway, automobile), power engineering facilities, gas supply, cartography, forestry, automation of state administration bodies, and Belarusian society computerization within the frame of the Electronic Belarus state-run program, as well as another tens of projects. Nowadays the OJSC “AGAT – Control Systems” products are basically science intensive models of systems and complexes, which top priority qualitative features satisfy high reliability, long service life, usability and affordable price.
